Itinerary

Day 1: FLY IN THROUGH JOMO KENYATTA INTERNATIONA AIRPORT IN NAIROBI – NYAMA CHOMA/BBQ AT CARNIVORE RESTURANT

Carnivore is an open-air restaurant in the Langata suburb of Nairobi, Kenya. Carnivore’s specialty is meat, and features an all-you-can-eat meat buffet. They serve a wide variety of meat and were famous for their game meat until Kenya imposed a ban on the sale of game meat in 2004.

On this day, our professional driver guide will pick you at the airport based on flight arrival time, further helping you with your luggage’s and drive you to Hotel in Nairobi to freshen up and rest.

Later drive you back to hotel in Nairobi. Pick up at “Jomo Kenyatta International Airport “& Drop off at Hotel in Nairobi.

Later in the evening, our driver guide will pick you from Hotel and drive you to Carnivore Restaurant.

Day 2: DAVID SHELDRICK WILDLIFE TRUST TOUR TO GIRAFFE CENTER TOUR TO LIMURU TEA PLANTATION.

 

At 10:00 am Nairobi time, we will drive off to the Sheldrick wildlife Trust. The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is the first, formative step in an orphan’s journey back to the wild. It is the place where baby elephants who have lost everything find family and a future once more.

We will visit this place to see & feed the orphaned elephants. Later we will drive off to Giraffe center for giraffe feeding and kissing. The Giraffe Centre is located next to Giraffe Manor and runs the breeding programme of the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe

After our full day tour, we will end our day at the Limuru tea plantation, visiting one of the finest brew plantations. 65% of the world’s tea leaves come from Kenya, and it’s in this place that you see how its picked, brewed and served a hot cup of Kenyan Pure Tea at an elevation of 7,000ft above sea level. The region enjoys the perfect climate and rainfall level that are needed for all year round tea cultivation, a factor that greatly contributes to Kenya’s position as the third largest tea producer in the world. Another interesting factor about this place is how friendly the local community are and the sudden weather variation from Nairobi city. Later in the evening we will drive back to hotel in Nairobi.

Day 3: VISIT THE KICC ROOF TOP –BOMAS OF KENYA – THE RIFT VALLEY ESCARPMENT- LAKE NAIVASHA

Bomas of Kenya replicates traditional villages that provide interesting insight about each tribe’s societal structures, craft, music, dancing and much more.

After an early breakfast, we will visit the KICC roof top for Nairobi aerial city view tour then drive to Bomas of Kenya.

Our first stop over will be at the rift valley view point to view the rift valley escarpments with some background information of how the rift valley came to been. After which we will stop at Mai Mahiu Catholic Church for sightseen, popularly referred as the ‘Travelers Chapel” and is the smallest church in Africa & 2nd smallest in the world, measuring 15x8ft and can only 12 during mass symbolic of the 12 apostles and was built in 1942, and is a major attraction site along the rift valley escarpment.

Bomas of Kenya is a cultural tour of Kenya’s ethnic groups, such as Mijikenda, Luo, Taita, Kuria to mention a few of the native people that are represented at the venue. Daily performances include a selection of more than 30 traditional dances of the different ethnic groups in Kenya and one of the most impressive performances is the Samburu and Maasai warriors. After an interesting cultural tour, we will drive to the rift valley escarpment.

After that tour, we will drive back to Hotel in Nairobi.

Day 4: NAIROBI TO JOMO KENYATTA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

 

Based on guest flight time, we will drive to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi for guest to catch their flight out of Nairobi.

Pick up at Hotel Nairobi & Drop off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
